Why does M.K. write about future cities?
Future cities are a long-standing area of interest. M.K. uses six themes—mobility, architecture, residents, daily life, governance and nature—to examine how AI, climate and demographic change may affect life together. These ideas also inform the fiction.

Neo Babylon is M.K.'s science-fiction series. Set after humanity has disappeared and AI has inherited Earth, it explores how cities, memory, culture and civilization might continue.

M.K. worked at United Microelectronics Corporation from 2000 to 2002 and at Cadence Design Systems from 2002 to 2009, with experience in semiconductors and electronic design automation.
